THYKO ("the app") is a loyalty card wallet developed by Daniele Costarella. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
All the information you enter into THYKO — card names, barcodes, photos you attach to a card, and any notes — is stored only on your own device, in the app's local database. Nothing is ever uploaded, backed up to a server, or made accessible to the developer or any third party.
THYKO requests camera access solely to let you scan a barcode when adding a card. Scanning happens entirely on your device; no image or video is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
If you choose to share a card with someone else (via QR code, image, or file export), that action is entirely under your control and happens directly between your device and the recipient's — no server or third party is involved, and the developer has no visibility into what is shared or with whom.
Since no data ever leaves your device, deleting a card in the app or uninstalling THYKO permanently removes that data. There is nothing for the developer to delete on your behalf, because nothing is ever received.
THYKO does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version of THYKO adds an optional feature that involves data leaving the device), this page will be updated and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
